B Lab Certified B Corporation

Issued by B Lab

Certification

Audit Scope

Reviews company performance across governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. Under the legacy model: B Impact Assessment score of 80+ (of 200) plus a legal commitment to consider stakeholders beyond shareholders. B Lab's new standards (V2.1, launched April 2025) replace the 80-point score with mandatory impact-topic requirements; companies certify under the new model on a phased schedule from 2026.

What It Proves

A company has met B Lab's certification requirements: under the legacy model, an 80+ B Impact Assessment score plus a stakeholder legal commitment, with recertification every 3 years; under the new standards (phasing in from 2026), mandatory performance requirements across all impact topics with continuous-improvement milestones.

What It Does Not Prove

B Corp does NOT certify product quality, supplement safety, or manufacturing GMP. It is a COMPANY-LEVEL impact framework — a B Corp-certified supplement brand may use the same contract manufacturer as a non-certified competitor. A certification date matters: certifications earned before 2026 reflect the legacy 80-point model, not the new standards.
